In fact, the command of "thou shalt not notice differences between groups" is the actual pathology. This is an application of a threat (social rejection and exclusion from access to society and sometimes even physical harm) to force you to lie about what your brain does and does not notice and prefer. In other words, "don't point out what everyone knows everyone knows or else we'll ruin your life." That's actually really fucked up!

Imagine that you really like oranges and you really don't like apples, and your whole society tells you "all fruit is the same" and they force you to eat apples and you have to smile and go "hey wow great I'm so happy." That would be fucked up, right? Same thing.

It's more like "they force you to eat shit, then say it's filet mignon and thank them for the wonderful dinner, which is far better than you deserve." These people are pure, unqualified evil.
