Are you suggesting that prior to about one-hundred years ago, women were pheromonally repelled by men roughly ninety percent of the time? That sounds kind of improbable. I doubt such a species would survive, and if it did, it almost certainly wouldn't survive in the pair-bonding, shared living space way that humans seem to favor. Where did you hear this?
