all of those options are prohibitively expensive especially just to go somewhere I'll have a boring and miserable experience
Do you live in the sticks or something? There's no town center nearby? Taxi? Uber? How do you consider those "prohibitively expensive"?
I don't really have any friends I know in person
Again, not a normal thing. Having actual IRL friends is crucial to a social life. This is also what's hurting you.
You're relying on your parents entirely and it's why you can't actually meet someone. I remember you telling me that your parents set you up with someone and you spent the whole time looking at the floor because you were afraid of saying something awkward. This is why I'm saying you're not normal. This is what prevents women from actually wanting to engage with you.
I've never looked at the prices for a taxi or uber but I can't imagine they're affordable
You seem to show a pattern of just believing something without ever doing any research to see if it's true. Again, not normal, but also not smart.
I currently try to keep my non-essential non-food related expenses at around $25 per month
That's loooooooow my dude. Incredibly low. Beyond broke.
But also, you still didn't answer my main question: Do you live in the sticks? Is there not a closeby area where people socialize? Unless you're way out in the boonies, I can't imagine a cab ride costing more than $15
What is there to even do IRL with friends?
Fucking anything lol.
Go to a bar, go on a walk, get ice cream, play a board game, hang out and watch TV, go to a museum, go to an art gallery, get a coffee, explore some urban area you haven't seen yet, see a local band putting on a show.
(Most of these things can be cheap and even free)
Obviously I'm relying on my parents, what else am I meant to do?
Grow up and do something on your own? You're talking like you're 13. Are you an adult?
There really isn't much for two unknown people to engage each other with
It seems you don't want to engage with people at all. This is how people meet. This is how normal people talk and interact. They get to know one another by talking and asking questions.
Mmmm...it's pretty clear.
Great, exactly my point
