i was watching a video of an all boys school in Japan and a lot of the food in the school was fried stuff with sauces. I was wondering why as this is unusual with Japanese school lunches, and then i realized its because the canteen was selling these foods, and were looking to make money, whereas Japanese schools that provided food for free for the students had noticibly more healthy food .
I thought the free lunch in Japanese schools was provided by the childhood friend who accidentally made too much, but doesn't like you or anything.
