The post-war yakuza movie series Battles Without Honor and Humanity starts with a brief scene of the main character fighting a couple of GIs as they attempt to rape a Japanese woman, while the Japanese military police are more concerned with preventing the locals from causing trouble with the US troops. It's funny that I always wrote this scene off as just some lawless hi-jinks to build character, but it could be that the director Fukasaku Kinji (same guy directed Battle Royale) had knowledge of this kind of scenario happening.
