Why else do you think civilization is entering a collapse state? Because they reset back to enriching themselves instead of benefiting people.
Incorrect. Civilizations that benefit the people last. Civilizations that do not do so, aren't really civilizations.

All of these civilizations operated no differently a thousand years ago: benefiting the elites primarily.
American and English civilization might be one of the only two that really made any attempt to benefit their people properly.
