European ideologies lasted thousands of years. American ideology lasted what? a few hundred years before collapsing? A lot of American ideology was based on "European" ideology in the first place, specifically the Enlightenment ideology (which is why some of the founding fathers of America supported the French revolution) which is the bases of leftist ideology in the first place
