A thing they're missing is the common courtesies they're talking about are rooted in living in a high-trust society. The West aren't those anymore.

I think the issue is that the in-group is tiny for any individual person, which is a result of living in a low-trust society as you mention. In the shithole metro area I live in a random white dude is only slightly more trustworthy than a diversity import. I certainly wouldn't consider them a member of my in-group until I have good reason to. So that leaves friends and family. We're Balkanized at a much lower level than demographic groups.
Well said. Most whites are not much more trust worthy due to conditioning. Strangely enough non whites are often generally happier and friendlier because they haven't been conditioned to hate themselves and white people are much. Whites are taught since day 1 this self hatred.
