It's not even close to impossible to lose weight, or get in some level of shape. There are certainly some physiques that are outside of practical reach for most people, but improving yourself, even physically, is nowhere near impossible. And you don't need drugs. Dude's a clown.

While I agree with your point on it and purity spirals, I don't think they picked it. Sexual achievement is a literal baseline instinct and evolutionary need, our body and hormones literally force us towards it against our will. If they cannot achieve some amount, they can't not think about it.
The closest stopgap is infinite masturbation, but then we open back to the discussion on how porn itself rots the brain in a different manner. And in this case still wouldn't fully help their problem.
Their choice to adopt a certain hatefully, defeatist mindset is certainly chosen, but "being an incel and thinking about women a lot" is a burden thrust upon them by evolutionary pressures. Whereas something like Jews is completely optional.
