it comes off to me more like he's saying, "look. it's in everone's best interest if we stop playing this divide and conquer bullshit and build the west back up, rather than trying to play victim games that don't work anymore."
He could be saying that, but they have no credibility when it comes to that, so people interpret it as they assume the more likely scenario
just calling it as I see it, lol.
I could be completely wrong, but it's easy to jump to conclusions, and hard to walk back from them.
