A lot of the men getting married and having children in today's society are very weak willed, simpy men that are feminized. So men trying to influence/control women in any way, shape, or form, unless they have very little impulse control or with a very short time horizon, will have to act knowing that if they step out of line, they will find themselves punished on multiple levels. So, alot of them, wether they want to or not, find themselves automatically adopting feminine strategies(resulting in a lot of pissed off women, whom instinctively hate weak men) to navigate that particular clusterfuck.
The next question is, 'Well, what about men totally ruined by society with nothing to loose', by which I can only gesture helplessly toward the elephant stick paradox.

In modern society, our government oppresses bulls and elevates steers such that women are funnelled into an environment in which they choose steers more than bulls but they still "have fun" with the bulls similar to how a rancher might mix the bulls with the female cows once or twice a year for a couple weeks, that's when the women go in heat and cheat on their steer husband with a bull man at some party, at work, or wherever because she tires of her steer and isn't truly attracted to him (dead bedrooms) but she feels compelled to marry one given how society has shaped things.

Men want whores/sluts (bulls) and mothers (steers) but the problem is the qualities that make a good one or the other are contradictory so men can never truly get what they want either. Again, in nature you end up with a decent mix but modernity elevated the whores and oppressed the mothers which fucks everything up for men and women also.
The root of all problems is government not women because without government, men with their superior strength, intelligence, competence, discipline, etc... can just force women into what they want and that would be better for women also. It's how nature intended.
