Let's for the sake of argument say that was his point, and ignore all the holes in it...he still needs to make the point, instead of calling people names. From a purely tactical standpoint, just being insulting and dismissive to the people - your own people, probably - that you're trying to convince, is not a good tactic.

Also, even if fascism is communism, is all communism fascism? Because, if it's not, and you're saying it's time to stop attacking communism...yeah. You're not an anti-communist.

He does sort of define it, saying fascism is national and religious. So you more strongly object to nationalism and religion than communism, despite labeling yourself an anti-communist?! Shit like this is why no one trusts James Lindsay anymore. He's a pompous, disingenuous jerk who is subversive.
