It's a simplification of history - Hitler believed the Aryans (distinctly, Germans) were the master race, not "white" people... just those of German descent. Italian? Polish? British? Nope.. not part of the group. Jews were right out.
Overtime the narrative got distorted as legend to "wyppipo" because it was convenient to do so.
That Hitler supported the Muslims as allies should show that it wasn't color insofar as RACE.
herrenrasse means germans being in rule of germany. americans being in charge of america etc.
master race is a typical jewish mistranslation and projection.
