All the streets are numbered such that the temple is right in the center. Given any address you know exactly where the temple is in relation to you. You're at the insersection of "200 North" and "400 West?" Yep, go 2 blocks south and 3 east. You're at the temple now. If you stayed where you were you could get a pretty decent hamburger.
It's unlike any other cities outside of Utah that way. Only Pennsylvania is more insane.
