And that's fine. I don't find your facts of the matter to be wrong, its just our two subjective opinions and differences. Trying to force the other to feel differently about it is both retarded and wasteful. We've said our piece and it is what it is. We shake hands and move on from that, which is something Josh probably should work on doing himself.

I think if we lived through various points of history, we'd fine that a lot of men we hold in high esteem likely would fall into a lot of these descriptions. Random retards that stumbled into something bigger than themselves or what they deserved, and then they simply bullheaded themselves into accomplishing something mountains bigger than their little actions should have achieved. And then history forgot the thorny parts and kept the influence they had.

I know this won't be the case with Josh, but its something to keep in mind regarding how unlikable people can still make stakes on history.

One should not discount the value of having a "space" where you can simply unwind completely and have a laugh with the boys. Where you aren't constantly anxious about saying the naughty words and getting morality lectures or booted. While there is obviously some of that (its the entire reason this conversation started), its still mostly limited to the BP hive and the Thunderdome sections. Like I said earlier, I'm able to avoid dealing with him almost entirely in many sections of the site for what that is worth.

Either way, between that and the ability to congregate to talk about the "untouchable" classes of the world, with the crowdsourcing of information and dossiers to learn about them as well, it brings its value through indirect means that are still very important.

That last bit can't be stressed hard enough either. Information I've got there has completely flipped my opinions and thoughts about certain people/movements that had otherwise controlled the narrative around themselves. And then I was able to pass that information to more people, and that makes waves over time.

Sure, that would be the standard in a saner world. But we live in the timeline we do, and that's a service that we have to fight to to have access to. And clearly it is a fight as that's what keeps happening to him.
