Trump's saying that these polls sampled something like 35% Trump supporters (a massive undersampling). I bet that's true.
It's not just that. This is with the entirety of the media, and the entirety of the tech companies running 24/7 propaganda against him for the entirety of his term. It started literally right after the election (anyone else remember the stupid ass "repot to the plantations! HurrrRR11!" text message scandal the media immediately ran with?), and hasn't stopped since then.
The reality is, it's amazing his support hasn't dropped more than that. The public hasn't gone a single day - seriously, a single day - without this media blasting them with "news" about how bad life is now. Unless you go live in a cabin in the middle of the woods, it's basically inescapable for the average person.
They are just going to wear people down a half a percent here, three quarters of a percent there, etc., until the midterms. Then - when people are so fucking tired of having to exist in this constant state of negativity - this same system is going to dangle the left out there as "hope and change" again. "Want things to start to get back to normal? Want us to call off the dogs? Put us back in power..."
It only takes a couple percent, in a couple of states, and they have virtually unlimited ability and reach to propagandize.
I'm amazed that many people are still watching Project Mockingbird media. I really thought the combination of covid fear mongering and Biden era mis-reporting would've driven more people away.
