The CRS put him up to an appearance at the press conference, probably to demonstrate his continued forgiveness and racial cuckoldry, but the defense attorney (or whatever) attacked him in order to establish a racial narrative ahead of the trial. There’s about a 100% chance that both groups were in cahoots, and whitey is setup as the bad guy with no recourse - unless he wants to go full alt-right, of course.
