Eh, she finally figures out something she's been told months ago, "it's only a weave", and turns into a giant crystal statue. There were a lot more climactic deaths during The Last Battle like Lan vs Demandred, but also so many literal throwaway one liners that took out previously "major" secondary characters like Davram Bashere who get written out while Rand looks on as if watching tv. But then again that entire chapter was longer than some books so a lot of people die and not all of them do in positively memorable ways.
