Nintendo: "Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions. Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged."
So just the pre-orders are being delayed, but the launch date itself is unaffected.
I'm a Nintendo fan and I know damn well this is bullshit. I saw people talking about the tariffs just based off the base price point before they even put this delay in place. Plus Japan has been treating us like crap since the '80s Maybe they should have thought ahead and built some factories here or not moved so much into China
Unironically, it seems to be graphics faggotry and other nonsense like that. Because the only thing it has over the original model is 4k vs 1080p and 60-120 FPS versus 30-60.
And I guess the Gamecube emulator being built into it, because that's the only feature I've seen people actually excited for. Which says a lot about how bad this reveal has gone in terms of hyping people.
The problem though is that 4K aspect has an asterisk next to it because it's 4K at 60 not 120 and if you want 120 it seems like most games are getting knocked down to 1080
It's worse than that. It's paying a premium on a console, so you can buy an upgrade package, so your laggy Switch game might not lag (and will probably be accomplished with some AI smear frame bullshit).
these single soy boys and hags with dried up eggs will buy it regardless.. its who nintendo is targeting these days. what parent would buy a nintendo that costs a lot more and games costing +70 bucks..

Ok if the tariffs somehow keep some soy boy from getting his Switch day one then this will all be worth it.
Lol. Yeah, I'm for it.
anyone who pre-orders deserves it.

Why do people want to buy this one anyways? Feels like the switch 2 is just too expensive with little that has changed.

Retarded doesn't even begin to describe fans of Nintendo.
