I have to laugh... Why would a woman get into fishing?

1. They have a good relationship with their dad, who likes to fish.
2. That's it! That is the whole list.

Obviously, fishing doesn't make them more confident, and more confident women are not more likely to fish. It's the common cause, a good father, that leads to both.
