This is a very good and important point. When there are massive ideological disconnects between groups of people who are forced to interact with each other, war is inevitable. People act like none of this would have happened without Zoe Quinn, but gamergate was never not happening. Because gamers are about 55% right leaning while game journos are about 95% far left. That sort of disconnect isn’t sustainable. And we’re seeing the same disconnect manifest in the current conflict between gamers and woke developers.
