I think too many people plays games for the goal instead of to have fun, and it creates this toxic mindset of "everything not getting me towards the end is a waste of time."

So a single wipe is now a personal attack on their time, a question betrays that you aren't 1337 enough to blaze past this content, and criticism of the game undermines their absurd time spent into it as possibly being wasted.

I love my games, but playing with other people or even engaging in the "community" can often be a huge risk of dealing with the worst people possible. And that was before the Woke infestation added the political possibility onto it.
