Lizzo isn't going to sell more albums because she's skinny. Ben Affleck needs to take steroids to be a credible batman and make $20 million for a single performance and obviously feels the need to lie about how he got the muscles.

I think they're a bit different.

Not really. Even the most basic 'influencers' lie about these things on social media, unless they're sponsored.
