That sucks you can't even get a Starbucks job. The job shortage is real around here as well. There was a pronounced downturn as the post-Covid bubble popped and layoffs started happening right and left.

One thing I will say though is that blue collar employers are always short of non-retarded employees. People who show up on time every day, do their job reliably, and get along with other people reasonably. If you get your foot in the door you won't be making tons of money, but at least you'll have job security for as long as you want it.
