Yes, the only reason to get a permit in Indiana is because they have agreements with most other states that allow CCW to recognize each other's permits. And even that's becoming pointless since something like half the country is constitutional carry now.
I believe the permit is now just a formality in Indiana as permitless concealed carry is the law.
