If the insurance companies are doing this, it's because the CCP told them to.

Remember: here just like in China, they're not pushing EVs because they want you driving EVs. They're pushing EVs because they don't want you driving.

Absolutely. The people in the video themselves are saying that they've been forced off the roads because the tech in "their" cars are snitching on them to local police that they're driving without insurance. EV are fundamentally and nothing more than methods of control.

Idiots like to argue that factory immobilization devices already exist in ICE vehicles, but those can be circumvented by disconnecting the device antenna, flashing the ECU or in some cases simply disconnecting the body control unit from the fuse box. With EVs, absolutely everything goes through the ECU which is locked and inaccessible except by proprietary factory readers. It's not possible to bypass an EV's computer to crank the engine. And again, EVs are not only recording your driving behavior, they're also snitching on you to local authorities and insurance companies.
