It is hilarious that the Leftwing Establishment is confused why Leftist protestors, whom they trained to be disruptive, are disrupting them with the strategies that they were trained with.
I will warn you not to consider this a sign of significant weakness within the party, rest assured that none of these people are prepared to vote differently. All of them would have voted Joe Biden, including the ones calling him Genocide Joe. Rest assured that in 2028, they will also vote exactly the same way, on the same issues, on the same policies. The base absolutely hates the establishment, but they will never vote differently than what they are told. This is not weakness, this is simply the party apparatchiks vying for power, and the NPD'ers among them asserting authority. It's purely performative.
I will note that some of the Leftist protestors pointed out that the party is funded by corporate interests that may be burning down neighborhoods in places like Maui. Broken clock.

But like you said, that aint gonna change shit. I know Megyn Kelly was talking about how she still has one "Woke" friend who lives in LA and lost her house in the fires. And for the first few days after the fire she was actually talking about how Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom were responsible and maybe it was time for a change. And literally within days, that friend was already back to "I mean, what can they have done? Do you really expect me to vote for Republicans instead?"
Maybe it is just the optimist in me, but I do think this still results in them losing more power, to the point I have not insignificant odds we actually do well in 2026 (as in, hold or small expand in the House, expand in the Senate). But I also fear that while we have gotten past the worst odds of something like a full scale collapse, we are entering a heighted era of the Left going full Days of Rage as they feel that their only recourse is "destroy everything." Especially as Trump starts tearing the Feds to shreds to get rid of the dug in Deep State types.
The left seem to have moved away from generalized civil war (2020), to directed terrorism. I don't think it will be as bad as The Days of Rage, but I think we might see the occasional shooting or beating of a Trump supporter. But even those attacks are fewer than they used to be.
I would be nervous about their "destroy everything as we leave", but we're already doing that to their institutions, so I don't know that it would mean anything to either of us.
Probably the only saving grace is that leftists now are just so much gayer then the 60's and 70's. The actual capability to do violence is reduced when you have limp wrists.
Homosexuality, at least for males, is actually worshiping and fetishizing masculinity by presenting yourself in a feminine manner to attract masculinity.
It is a weakness though. They will have their crazies doing everything they can to drag the party to the left by using all the same tactics that have digusted the normies enough to vote for Trump last election. Kamala wasn't running around campaigning on commie shit, but the stench of it was still all over her just from being near it, so people didn't vote for her. They may all vote Democrat, but all of the people they piss off in the process won't.
A civil war in the Democrat party is the best thing for the country.
What I'm saying is that there is no Civil War in the Democratic Party. Leftist infighting is universal, but they will always stand shoulder-to-shoulder together in order to oppose the center-right. It's not what you would call "a split", just their normal behavior when they don't have a strong man or strong message.
And what I'm saying is that it doesn't matter if the party apparatchicks are all in agreement with each other. Elections aren't decided by their support. They are decided by the support of the voters, who just rejected them soundly. If the party doesn't change to address this, the voters will reject them even harder next time.
They are losing support in California with their current direction. If they double down, they will destroy the party. And I hope they do exactly that.
They've been destroyed before. They've come back with Joe Biden and Bill Clinton, exploiting right-wing moralism to their own advantage with left-wing moralism, and now we are all hoping that the 90's Democrat saves us from the 2014's Democrat.
Being anti-Left is not enough, we actually have to build something on the right this time, unlike every time we've done it in the past 70 years when we've had major victories.

It's not about gayness as much as it is about worshiping weakness.
But you repeat yourself
Actually, no,
Homosexuality, at least for males, is actually worshiping and fetishizing masculinity by presenting yourself in a feminine manner to attract masculinity.

I just wanted you to know I laughed out loud at this part.
Oh it's funny? Then what the fuck just happened in November? If the DNC controls who wins, then why didn't they win?
