This is what happens when you let women into your hobby. No. Good.
I'm seeing a lot of young women getting into motorsports now too. They're never in the Top 10 and they're a constant track hazard. Women don't have the drive and temerity to race. They "race" the way they drive on the roads: cautious and courteous. That's not racing, but there's no shortage of sponsors willing to pay their ride just so they can say "We sponsor the grrrrl racer!"
I was once doing a racing course on a famous track IRL, and after doing several drills, laps with instructors, etc…for a day and at the end of doing the same thing on the 2nd day we finally had the first time to be able to run free for 30 min on our own and have the video recorded for us to take home(the age of DVDs) but there was one young(arrogant) girl in the class. And wouldn’t you know it, after we all get out on track and barely warmed up she flys off track 5 minutes into the 30 min and gets stuck in the sand so now everyone else gets yellow flagged to pull back into pits and wait for the truck to come and pull her out. So essentially all of our cockpit videos are all ruined and we maybe got 1 lap uninterrupted.
I don't know if the driver was female, but the same thing happened last year to someone I know who attended the Skip Barber school at COTA. Fortunately, the trucks worked fast and they only lost about ten mins., but those are ten very expensive minutes.
We should merge the one that starts at 1985.

I knew a girl who tried to attract my gamer relative by claiming to be a gamer girl. Her "gaming experience" was her family owning a ps2 that she had never even used lmao.
When a girl says she is a gamer, she means "I want to fit in with men and attract a gamer man, but I hope they stop playing video games".
When she tries to attract a gamer chad, she identifies as a gamer. When she tries to make male friends or simps, she identifies as a gamer. When she is alone at home, she wouldn't touch a game with a ten feet pole.
Girls only identify as gamers when it helps them socially.
This is also why girls always use voice chat and join guilds even after posting a hundred vents on reddit about how they are harassed for being girls.
What a classic - I think it got a few more years added to it since the Gamergate days.
I always find in ironic that in the 90s gaming was far more accepting and open. Now that the “representation” crowd is trying to take over gaming has become just like high school. Games used to have a diverse range of genres. Now everything is moving towards conglomerated slop like what Ubisoft and EA put out yearly. It’s a “cinematic” experience that’s why the boss battle is a QTE. Not because the influx of mouth breathers who can’t grasp the complexities of multiple buttons. An attractive female “gamer” is literally easy mode in life. Turn on webcam, wear a bikini, do some yoga before you start, 🤑🤑🤑.
They waited until Gamers had made our hobby popular. They looked down on us for playing them, and most of them still do. But once it benefitted them, Girl Gamers became a thing
2009-2010 were the best years imo. League of Legends was still enormously fun, girls were playing, and it was pure chaos. Innocent times.
