This is a misnomer as many farm hands from Mexico are LEGAL seasonal workers who come over, do the work during picking season then go back home. That probably won't change but if regulation of the industry is reduced it makes automation cheaper so they are less dependent on am outside labour force.
But there's NO excuse for illegals unless you want to also remove the 14th amendment...
So let me get this right: they're asserting that entire industries rely on abusive, exploitive, illegal labor ... and they want to preserve that?
The solution isn't to hold these industries accountable and transition them into legal compliance ... it's to keep the slaves where they are?
... and these people, these "experts", they think themselves the "good guys" in all this? Did I miss anything? 🤔
Most liberals see them as cheap labor, they proudly say "what lazy native would work for below minimum wage?".
I honestly think they are too stupid these days to realise they are effectively advocating for slave labor.
