As usual, Democratic hive cities use dense populations to generate the political capital needed to exert influence on everyone else, not only everyone in their state, but also everyone in other states (See: Oregon, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Washington, and Colorado for political demographic replacement)
Part of the problem is that in a lot of Left-controlled areas, the right is demoralized, and the general public is apoliticized. Britain is an excellent example of this, as most of the English population are fairly center-right, but the elites are Democratic Socialists at best, and the majority of the population is so disgusted and abandoning politics that they make no effort to actually try and effect elections.
This is why black-pillers are the enemy. They serve to re-enforce demoralization on the right, political toxicity to normies, and accelerationism to promote violent crackdowns on dissidents. As soon as someone with real power shows up and starts throwing their weight around and effecting change, people start coming out of the woodwork and actually involving themselves in politics enough to make that change. It's just that so many people in these places are a) depoliticized, b) demoralized, c) propagandized.
