I think it’s more of a bogeyman or Jack the Ripper. Anyone could be a Nazi, everyone behind closed doors is sieg heiling, their phone password is 1488, and they all want to put the Jews into work camps (aka kick them out of the country).
Not my fault this random number came to mind first and is easy to remember.
