Women are not built for leadership. It says so quite clearly in the bible, but even if it didn't you could make that determination by looking honestly at human history. Coming at the issue from a religious, scientific, or sociological angle, you will arrive at the same conclusion. The only way to avoid it is wilful ignorance.
There are some extremely rare exceptions, but they tend to be very unusual women, and they don't need 'help' to prove their competence. I have known some very impressive women who were capable of leadership, but even they will often choose to submit to a man in such matters because they understand that having structure in society is more important than indulging their own ego.
