The ending of PoE firmly convinced me of the brainrot of Obsidian employees a fucking decade ago, I didn't need this or PoE2 to be completely uninterested. Excluding Avellone and rejecting Durance only sealed the deal.
They undermined their entire setting and created a situation that doesn't actually make any sense specifically because they're faggot californian atheist devs who just couldn't stop tipping their fedoras euphorically for long enough to actually allow an honest introspection into the very world they created.
I still don't understand how we get from PoE2 to here. I missed something.
