I would love to say that is the same here in DK with no taxes, but at least the amount listed is the post tax number, so what you see is what you get. Sadly you just don't see the enormous taxes before your payout.
all attention is on this one failing while the political spending bill which fucks over the small parties (which were rising) passes thanks to the uniparty.
There's also the social media age ban thing, which is, IMHO, a backdoor way to force us all into having a digital ID, and then linking that with social media accounts...
I'm a stupid fuck who don't know shit, but I always wondered why other countries with elections and representatives elected by the people, for the people, don't push for free speech and its expansion.
That's basic freedom 101 shit, Aussies got "implied freedom of political speech," lol.
Because the speech that requires legal protection is what goes against the grain. Normies in those countries aren't affected, and they enjoy it when 'bad people' are punished.
I used to praise Australia for exactly one thing:
In Australia, game show winnings are not taxable. You win ten thousand dollars, you get ten thousand dollars.
But all their other taxes are so high that this becomes a moot point.
I'm just a lifelong fan of game shows.
Ditto for lottery and gambling wins. But same point applies.

They'll pass that one, almost certainly...
But he'll vote aye to a even more draconian one in the future.
My bet is this bill isn't "enough".
They’ll just sneak it into something else later.
Thank God for small blessings.
Well I'll be damned.
