You may have heard the phrase "politics Is downstream from culture" but the fact is culture is downstream from the Church. Jesus said that the Church is the salt of the Earth, but the modern Church has lost its saltiness. I think that is the core reason why we have so many problems in this country right now. My pastor also claimed only 1/3 of Christians go out and vote. If true, that's a real eye opener to me.

I've heard from others in my church's mens group that the divorce rate among Christians is alarmingly high, in the range of 50-60%. Treat this figure as unverified, but I personally believe it to be the case.

Strong agree from me. Whether it was the hippie movement, Feminism, no-fault divorce, the welfare state, or other points much further back (of which I have many different theories), something happened that has resulted in the Church as a whole being completely neutered. This is further accentuated by the split between conservative churches (ie. real Christians) and the leftist "churches" that act more as literal Temples of Wokeness where God (let alone, the Bible) is clearly not welcome.
edit:
The blocked site list, for those who have asked, is:
breitbart.com, trunews.com, churchmilitant.com, lifesitenews.com, lepantoinstitute.org
There are other sites on the list that I think are either related to blog abuse, commercial spam, or pornography, and we also ban Russian state media. We banned Breitbart because someone posted a convincing article about its white supremacist ties, TruNews because Rick Wiles is an antisemite, and the last three because they were complicit in the doxxing (released home address) of a gay church school employee.
r/christianity, the place where atheists smugly tell Christians that Jesus would have loved gays and hated Trump.
And actively bans anyone who argues from biblical standards.
Because yknow - that’s what a Christianity discussion is all about…
These people are loons. Including brucemo - atheist supreme mod of the Christianity subreddit…
I would love for these heretics to be cleansed.
First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win and then they buy you
Evil fuckers.
The actual church is only slightly less pozzed than r/Christianity.

Pardon me for going out of order.
