Yeah, I did it this way in 2020. It's the best of both worlds because you and a bunch of peopple around you get to see you directly hand it over to the clerk or at least put it in those collection boxes. I went straight to the state capitol ballot box collection sites for it - they have people guarding those boxes where I am.
