What you described sounds like responsible parenting.
So you agree with Tipper Gore then? Tipper only wanted a warning sticker on CDs.
If it was only warning stickers, I'm fine with that. Except that wasn't the case. She pushed for tighter restrictions, such as ratings-based sales.
As an analogy, it's good to have a label to know what ingredients are in the food you eat. It's good if a parent then uses that knowledge to decide not to buy cookies for their kid because it has too much sugar in it. It's bad when there are legal restrictions on what people can buy based on the ingredients.
