I live in Florida now, but still keep in contact with folks back home. The lefty people are crowing about Trump signs and banners disappearing from neighborhoods.
Meanwhile the big lefty names are saying that if Trump wins, they will protest again. These protests look like Chas and riots.
It's insane to witness even from afar.
In my neck of the woods in the Seattle exurbs, there are zero signs for any candidates. I regularly drive through a good 15ish miles of residential arterials.
None. None in yards, no flags, no nothing.
It's honestly kind of eerie. I'm tempted to put up some Trump signs but I don't want my house vandalized. I did put up a U.S. flag a couple weeks ago which I figure will piss off the right people without explicitly putting a target on myself.
Is Washington like a lot of blue states where it’s very red but one big city ruins it?
Look at the county break down of the state for the 2020 election. The city and surrounding suburbs of Seattle in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties dominate the rest of the state. Spokane is left leaning, but isn't totally gone yet.
Good point. I live in Texas and it’s a massive red ocean with blue islands. Although there is so much space in Texas the smaller and rural towns over power the big cities for now. I live in the county with the only large city that isn’t blue yet
The county maps are always interesting. It's usually just a red map with blue dots.
Spokane had the rioters and local gun club meet up. That was interesting.
