Today is a day we look back in our history, and on reflection, we start to realize how much of our "government" has been a lie, and the lengths they would go to continue that lie.
Never forget.

That's absurd, he absolutely was an enemy of USA. That's no reason to invade Iraq but he was actively hostile to US. Did you just create an account here to spew that crap?
Sadam wanted to do shit that would hurt our economy. That makes him our enemy. Was it worth invading Iraq over? Maybe, maybe not, but he was definitely opposed to us.
What did he do to hurt our economy?
Went away from a Fed bank. Gold. No petrodollar.
So what makes him my enemy? Cause he won't use the central bank anymore?
He was trying to organize oil-rich countries into a trading block against us, and was attempting to make everyone buy oil in his own currency instead of the dollar.
Yeah, that's going to hurt our economy and that makes him our enemy, doesn't matter why he was doing what he was doing.
Edit: how could I forget that he invaded Kuwait which would have completely cut off our oil supply. Don't buy the revisionist bullshit that Saddam was minding his own business.
Lol nah. We have our own oil if we are so concerned with our economy.
So? Losing a major oil supply hurts our economy regardless of how much we have because it hurts the international trade routes. It raises the cost of exports and imports.
Liberating Kuwait was completely justified, the invasion is dubious at best, but that doesn't change the fact that Saddam was an enemy of the US. So is Xi, but that doesn't mean we invade mainland China.
100% no. Blowing up Iraqis in Kuwait and the highway of death does nothing for national security. It does plenty to defend the kleptocracy that runs the deep state though.
How was he hostile?
