They're either evil, or so disgustingly incompetent the results are just as bad as if they were evil. (E.G. The Secret Service.)
Just a warning that they put so-called "anti-Semitic" companies on their red list along with the woke ones. Be sure to read their reason why a company is included on the list and make up your own mind.
Between your comment and u/SpaceGeneral's this list looks compromised as hell.
Yeah I was following the RPGPundit for awhile, he went deep into Israel is our Gr3AtEsT AllY territory, and it's overrun the forums. Starting to see a lot more woke-adjacent pandering there too.
Funny how the OSR is almost uniformly based. It's crazy what a respect for tradition can do for your worldview.
I question some of the green tier, in particular Pinnacle and Necrotic Gnome. Both are go-along-to-get-along normies at best. Dolmenwood changed "race" to "kindred" and "minstrel" to "bard" to avoid 'uncomfortable connotations.'
A huge nod to Autarch. I own several of their books and have interacted with the owner repeatedly. They're cool people, based as all get out and they make good games.
My only issue is MYFAROG and Judge’s Guild being here (they’re in the red as they’re based, not faggy at all)
Reaper Miniatures supports 'PriDEMONth' and had a fucking paint set dedicated to it. Should be in Red.
Might want to add Heavy Gear 4th Edition from Dream Pod Nine to the list.
Think of Heavy Gear as Canada's mecha franchise. Where the Mechs are smaller than any Gundams or BattleMechs but are just a grade above being just power suits.
It sucks I have to talk about Heavy Gear this way because the events in current lore are really exciting. However the book is filled with statements using examples of trans characters being discriminated because of their nationality, not because of their transitioning. Then there are comments from characters from Earth (the overall bad guy faction) saying stuff like "Make Earth Great Again". It's a little too on the nose.
I'm honestly surprised Eclipse Phase wasn't included on the list.
...probably means they just haven't been obscenely obnoxious about it.
Have an archive of the list.
While looking up some stuff, I found Grimdark future.
You can download the PDFs and 3D print the characters. So it's fairly easy to dive into without spending a lot.
Post Mortem games had a booklet on diversity. I haven't read it, but the description feels dweeby.
