Nearly 50 hours, very simplistic animations but the combat is extremely fast paced and has some really nice, unique ways to go about it. Music is FUCKING AWESOME. Really reminds me of Ys at times. Story for the most part is very deep, involving the consequences of screwing with time.
"Gaiden" is a simple rogue-like dungeon. It's pretty much a full game version of the final dungeon of the main game, and stars a new character.
Anyways, it has a demo. Try it and see for yourself if you're hesitant on buying.
Honestly it seems to already be becoming the case. I'm genuinely shocked at how often I'll look at a Steam game and see it has a demo. Double so how many let you just carry over progress from it.
Indies especially are embracing it these days, making demo integration into the storefront so easy and prominent has been one of the best things steam has done lately for consumers.
I'm sure Lethn isn't the only game dev who recognizes how many hacks are out there shitting out garbage games. If they know their shit they'd be fools not to go out of their way to demonstrate they made a real game instead of some retard's first unity project pinned on the storefront like a crayon drawing on a fridge. The demos are the only thing that has got me to give a chance to, and buy, any hidden gems these last few years.

I wish more games would return to the demo model, especially niche genres and stuff with novel gameplay mechanics.
