To correct you, 39% claim they don't identify as feminists. You're actually being more charitable toward women than you need to be in how you're reading that.
Women in general have an extreme ingroup preference. Pretty much all women are feminists, to varying degrees. Exceptions exist, but then generalization seems largely correct.
well, when you combine it with men's overall out-group bias, you get closer to the truth;
