Took about 20 minutes. Well worth doing because the questions seem genuinely feeling out for things bigger than just localization like pricing, "enhanced editions" and DLC for games, as well as platform releases and delivery of information.
Which for anyone who plays modern Atlus games, that's a much bigger issue with their company than just the localization. Not that those aren't a problem, but a translation is a lot less offensive than "70$ game, with 40$ DLC on release with a 70$ Enhanced Edition in 2 years with its own 40$ of DLC."
Because the woke isn't the only cancer to focus on in these games.
I'm probably not their target demographic since the most I spent on one game in the past years was about $20, after torrenting it and seeing it was on GoG, at low price, definetly wanting to support it despite being poor.
I'm not opposed to spending full price on a game (though not 70$ yet), but I'm also not in the camp of "its just cosmetic so it doesn't matter" when it comes to DLC. So Atlus games constantly fail my test of being worth it.
The upside to them however, that most other companies fail, is that those games usually do reach bargain bin prices and the "enhanced" versions mean that you'll get most of that DLC free with that bargain price. You just need to wait them out.
I kept mine fairly neutral to try and ensure they didn't immediately get defensive and throw it out. Because a lot of the questions did make me feel like this could have impact on their pricing, porting, and release models going forward.
And fortunately or unfortunately, Royal outright replaces Vanilla to the point where there is little to no reason to go back. 3 and 4 both had strong points to every version of them to give some reason why Vanilla or Portable or Golden were worth sticking to, but with 5 its straight up upgraded in every way.
its also probably a good time to tell them to stop listening to English localizers on anything and that the English localizers don't represent what the fans want
I would have complained about the absolute hopelessness and nihilism of their stories. I would have requested they do away with the trope of children repeatedly shooting themselves in the head to gain superpowers. I guess you guys are wired differently.
From name I recognize their Persona series, and I saw a let's-play of their Catherine game, which was interesting, but featured a troon and rape-by-deception played for laugh.
Never bought from them so I hesitate to fill their survey.
Acurate translation ( yes I want notes to explain Japanese culture to baka gaijins ) and no racial diversity make me want to buy games.

I think they will just throw out my survey, as i ranted a little too hard at all that stuff.
Also ended with a nice, 'Frankly i should already boycott you'. Might have gone a lil overboard.

I didn't finish Persona 5, but learning that it was getting an enhanced edition, Royal, took the wind out of my sails for restarting my playthrough.

There's a comment box at end of the survey where you can leave any comments you want for Atlus.
It's a long survey. Don't start it right now if you're going to be pressed for time.
Question 2: Male/Female/Non-Binary/Prefer not to answer
They are not serious when they want participants, so I choose not to participate. I don't play rigged games.
Comment that on their twitter post then .

Link to their catalog of games. Some of their box-art feature racial diversity, which is a turn-off. Most don't.
