That temple is where that ridiculous booby-goat fake "satan" comes from. Sorry, but Satan has primarily human features. Putting a goat's head on him is like putting a sheep's head on Jesus - mixing up the metaphor with the iconography.
I looked it up. The Satanic Temple is the ulta-progressive one.
This one, the Church of Satan, is the more traditionally satanic, although both apparently claim to 'not reaaaaalllly worship Satan.'
But, yeah, the Temple is just a straight up progressive activist group, while the Church is more Satan-y.
