I believe they need replacing and don't represent the interests of this community.

I'd probably go with shutting off the food tube for a bit, let the perp really waste away, then replace the food inflow with grease from the cookers, high-calorie waste "food" slop byproducts from the agricultural industry, turn the perp massively obese, then begin harvesting the fat deposits for gasoline manufacturing.
