In the real world, I’m working on my own company by my pool. 99.9% of the people commenting, are 35 year old dudes, somewhere basement like, using rumors/insults to try to change people’s perception of me, who aren’t successful and are very resentful about it.

This is a massive oversimplification. Like all wars, WW2 was a war about economics and power. It wasn't 'let's go save the Jews from the bad Nazis,' by and large. Most of that came after the Good Guys won and wrote the history books.
