He's probably just being a contrarian since right-wing circles lionize Japan so much. And to some extent I get it, Japan is an amazing place but it's not without its degeneracy and social dysfunction. Plus white dudes who go out of their way to nab themselves a jap waifu are racemixing degenerates who are only adding to Japan's demographic problems, nevermind that they're in for a rude awakening anyways.
