Let me be very clear. If a cop tackles you, and a terrorist stabs a cop, and that terrorist takes a bullet to the chest from another cop, and the terrorist drops his knife...
I think it is understandable that the civilian picked up the knife to throw it away. he has no view to ensure that the assailant is disabled and as proven in the video you cannot trust the officers.
Although I agree with sentiment that kicking is better, the position did not allow that, unless he is supposed to spin, haha. If the cops were competent, they would have done it after the shot. and they would have moved properly in a more coordinate fashion to secure the area.
Odds are you're not breaking a knife super quick in shoes most people are wearing on those streets, or even in most boots. The better solution is to prevent the dindu from dindu'ing the first time.
I'm more confused after seeing that angle. So it's obvious the guy with a little red bag is the terrorist. The guy in blue is the civvie that the cop tackled. Who is the guy the civvie was punching? The guy with the red bag was hanging on to his legs and got up while blue shirt was still punching the other guy.
To be honest, we don't see what the cops saw from their angle, nor when they saw it. This is why bodycams help. Considering the dude didn't apparently start the attack by screaming Allah Akbar, it might not have attacked anyone's attention. Knife fights are quiet, and people don't always know their stabbed even while they are dying. This is what makes the speed of a knife attack so wildly dangerous. It's not only quick, but it's hard to respond to and hard to assess.
I'm not saying that Institutional Biasing for the islamist isn't at play here, but I'd bet the cop didn't even see the knife when he tackled the guy on top. In fact it looks like when the tackled the guy on top, the other cops saw the knife and jumped back. It took a long time for one of the cops to recognize the deadly threat of the knife and draw their pistol.
By the way, I found footage of the event on Rumble: https://rumble.com/v4z1omc-afghan-immigrant-goes-on-stabbing-spree-in-germany.html

DO. NOT. PICK. UP. THE. KNIFE.

That's why you kick it away, don't be a retard and grab it.

Step on it and break it

Unbreakable in the hippo's stampus.
I get why he did it, it's just very dangerous. Particularly if you are an American.
