Even the food part is fucking ridiculous. I live in such manhive and, if it comes to having some "baked dough and meat" combination, withing 20 minutes of walking time I can get traditional piroshki, blini, ossetian pies, chebureki, samsa, shawarma, gyros, kubete. Probably forgotten to mention something. Different kinds of that, too. Oh, and your usual fare like burgers & pizza, ofc.
USSR people could've been suffering from deficit time to time (and that also seriously depended on your placement within the country and the society), but they surely knew how to cook stuff.
Not to mention that USSR was multicultural hellhole that was the least accommodating to actual russians so lol.
