After working with Indians for a long time, they are some of the most racist people I've ever worked with. They will do anything to get more of them in and stack things as much as possible against non-Indians, stuff like not create accounts to new guys and then chastise them for not completing their tasks or cheat on their own metrics with the help of their Indian managers. Praise themselves to higher management for minor stuff that they did and sometimes even things they didn't and somebody else did it. Had a guy break a ton servers, I think close to 40 servers while trying to deploy a monitoring solution and we had a non-Indian work the entire weekend to fix them and at the end the Indian guy got an award from his Indian manager for his hard work in the deployment.
Culturally they have no moral issue in acting this way. It is one of those cultural differences that do not exist according to the left.
honestly, besides their search engine Google never really made anything good. the company structure is such that they build a bunch of half projects that release with fanfare then quietly get canned.
Is Maps part of search? Because bugs and stupid mistakes aside (they once accidentally deleted a ton of indoor 360 views that people uploaded) I find it quite useful. Yes it was based on tech they bought, but they've added a lot since then like Street View and 3D. A really cool feature of street view is the ability to see previous views of an area over time.
I'm also pretty sure the whole thing is a CIA joint but that sounds really conspiratorial when I tell people and I can't prove it.

This likely explains why Microsoft has shat the bed so hard in the last 20 years.
And Google.
